Our digital marketing agency was born of a desire to be better than others in our industry. We strive to be transparent about the work we do, honest about how we spend our clients budgets and act in their best interests at all times.

The founder of We Are Digital, Gareth O’Rourke, started the business after working on the client side for 20 years, both as a business owner and heading up digital marketing teams. The frustration he experienced with many agencies was that they didn’t understand the commercial needs of a business and worked in a very silo way, often to the detriment of that business. Digital shouldn’t be a silo process, and neither is running a business. Gareth wanted to change this. Understanding a client’s business is vital – building digital campaigns and infrastructure relies on this insight – so that both the agency and client are working as one, in collaboration, which is how any digital marketing campaign should be run.

Before starting We Are Digital, Gareth’s most recent role was heading up the multi-brand fashion business CHO. Over 5 years with the company as Director of International E-Commerce and Buying he grew the UK website by over 300%, launched internationally through numerous channels and launched a dedicated German website. Gareth has won numerous awards including the prestigious Drapers Digital Award for Best Digital Marketing Campaign beating MissGuided, Very and Mr Porter. Before this Gareth was responsible for the digital strategy for several travel and tourism businesses, both in the holiday cottage and luxury resort sectors. He successfully helped those businesses add significant revenue by overhauling their digital footprints, driving change through his passion and determination to succeed.
